Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Officer to join our team, with a focus on digital transformation. The IT Officer will be responsible for leading digital transformation efforts, providing technical support, maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, and ensuring that all systems are secure and up to date. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, digital transformation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.


Job Station: Kathmandu (Required frequent travel to sub stations)


Salary Per Month : 30,000 - 35,000/- (Total cost to the Company)


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead digital transformation efforts across the company, identifying areas where technology can streamline business processes and    promote smooth running systems across all its head office and sub offices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems, including printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Provide technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain the company's website ensuring it is up to date, easy to use, and meets the needs of the business.
  • Manage and maintain the company's social media presence, including creating and curating content, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing social media metrics.
  • Create graphic designs for various projects, including publication and training materials, presentations, and social media content.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT equipment, including software licenses and hardware components.
  • Provide training to staff on IT systems and procedures as needed.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Experience in leading digital transformation efforts, identifying opportunities for technology to enhance business processes and customer experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware and software systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with networking, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of website development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with graphic design software, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in social media management and content creation for social media platforms.
  • Certifications in relevant areas, such as CompTIA A+ or Network+, are desirable.

  • Experience in creating graphics for publication and training materials.
