IT NETWORK ENGINEER/IT SALES

(JAPANESE – ENGLISH BILINGUAL)

Japan – Tokyo

Responsibilities:

• Wide working contents ranging from initial network designing to troubleshooting network malfunction, with the final goal of fulfilling business requirement.
• Proposing, designing, and operating internal network/inter-corporate external network.
• Consult with client, data processing management and staff in the design and implementation of new or modified network system.
• Support the Network Engineering with network designs and assist with implementation processes; coordinate supplies, contractors and operations.
• Monitor the operation of the networks and systems to ensure proper utilization of lines, hardware and software.  Tune networks for optimal system performance.
• Utilize network tools such as packet sniffers to rule out network issues and/or isolate issue.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications and documents, drawings, and system documentation.
• Interpret complex technical diagrams in order to affect problem resolution.
• Assist in the evaluation of vendor proposals with respect to the hardware, communications protocols, switching methods, access methods and tariffs and in the procurement of software and equipment; recommend equipment for purchase or lease.
• Test and verify all changes to ensure changes occur without interruption.
• Track projects and report status to appropriate management.

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma holder
• Acquired JLPT N1/N2 with good points
• Preferred to be Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Cisco Network Professional (CCNP), Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) or other similar certificate holder
• Advanced knowledge in one or more of the following technologies: VPN, Wireless, Network Management, Load Balancers (Cisco ACE), application accelerators (Citrix Branch Repeaters), Cisco Nexus switches
• Consultative, good, communication skills, strong analytical abilities and professional office experience needed
• Candidates must posses good speaking and writing skill of Japanese.

Working Place: Tokyo, Japan

Working Hour: Rotation Shift (varies according to job contents)

Salary and Benefit:

• Commensurate with skills and experience (between 200,000 YEN ~ 300,000 YEN)
• Accommodation provided (first 6 months)
• Transportation fees subsidized (commute)
• Working visa provided
