Child Health & Environment Save Society Nepal (CHESS Nepal) is an NGO established in 1998. It has been working actively in partnership with several funding agencies on various projects focused on integrated livelihood, education, health and environment in western Nepal since its inception. We require fulfilling the following positions immediately and calling for application from qualified candidates. All advertised positions are based in Lamjung district, but the successful candidates have to make frequent visits to Gorkha, Tanahun and Kaski districts. Salaries and other benefits are provided as per the organisation’s norms. All advertised positions have high possibilities of tenure extension subjected to satisfactory work performance.
1. Position required: Internee for admin & finance section (total number one)
The candidate should
• have completed a bachelor degree in business studies and management.
• have reasonable skills on preparing financial proposals and reports.
• have computer skills to work efficiently in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point in addition to typing skills in English and Nepali languages.
• be fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali languages.
2. Position required: Internee for program section (total number one)
The candidate should have
• have completed a bachelor degree in agriculture, animal or veterinary science or sociology/rural development.
• have computer skills to work efficiently in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point in addition to typing skills in English and Nepali languages..
• have sufficient skills on report and proposal writing.
• have good communication skills with fluency in spoken and written Nepali and English languages.
Applicants should apply with a covering letter addressed to the executive officer, an updated curriculum vita that contains at least two references and an essay explaining why the applicant is suitable for the post. The applicant should also include copies of the most recently completed academic degree, Nepalese citizenship, experience letter(s), relevant trainings and a recent passport size photograph in his/her application. These documents should reach to the following address no later than 28 January 2013.
