International Coordination Assistant

Job Description:
The International Coordination Assistant will support the coordination efforts of the International Coordination Officer and other team members in Manavsewa Ashram. This role involves facilitating communication between international chapters, assisting in research, documentation, and ensuring smooth operational activities for the Ashram’s global outreach programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Research on Nepali Communities: Assist in studying and researching Nepali communities in various countries where they reside in significant numbers, helping to build the foundation for international service programs.
- Document Program Information: Help document details of completed programs using scientific methods, consolidate information, and maintain up-to-date records.
- Compile Program Records: Assist in compiling program photos, videos, financial details, and other necessary documents, ensuring they are stored properly for future presentation and reference.
- Communication with Donors and Participants: Help send letters of gratitude, receipts for financial contributions, and updates on the utilization of donations via email, Facebook, WhatsApp, and other approved communication methods.
- Maintain Fund Coordination Records: Aid in coordinating and tracking commitment funds, assist in maintaining records of chapter officials, and support regular communication between Nepal and chapters abroad.
- Social Media and Digital Coordination: Assist in managing email IDs, social media platforms (Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger), and ensure the regular posting of updates related to Ashram's humanitarian services and programs.
- Maintain Communication with Foreign Chapters: Support communication with Nepali diaspora communities, assisting in maintaining ongoing coordination and information exchange.
- Engage with Diplomats and Embassy Staff: Assist in gathering information about diplomats and embassy staff and help facilitate communication and relationship-building with foreign officials.
- Support NRNA Coordination: Assist in maintaining and expanding contact with NRNA (Non-Resident Nepali Association) groups and other similar organizations abroad.
- Festival and Achievement Updates: Help in regularly sending updates about the Ashram's achievements, and best wishes for major festivals, to international communities.
- Research on Foreign Countries: Aid in researching geopolitical, cultural, and economic conditions of potential countries for expanding Ashram services.
- Gather Information on Nepali Diaspora: Assist in gathering reports on the economic, emotional, social, and cultural situations of Nepali communities living abroad.
- Prepare Reports and Documents: Help prepare reports, track progress, and assist in documenting challenges and opportunities for international programs.
- Maintain Contact with Humanitarian Organizations: Assist in researching and documenting information about other humanitarian organizations abroad and their services.
Skills and Requirements:
- Freshers are Encouraged to Apply: This position is open to candidates who may not have prior professional experience but possess strong communication skills and a keen interest in international relations and coordination.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English proficiency is essential, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Must have strong organizational and documentation skills for maintaining and managing program records.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with communication tools (Email, Facebook, WhatsApp) and social media platforms.
- Research Ability: Strong aptitude for research and gathering data related to international programs, communities, and humanitarian efforts.
- Proactive and Independent: Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a supportive team player.
- Cultural Awareness: A basic understanding of different cultures and international coordination is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Adaptability and Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges related to international coordination efforts.
Education & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in International Relations, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Experience: Freshers with relevant skills are highly encouraged to apply. Previous experience in research, communication, or international work is a plus but not required.
