Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) Karnali Province Office in close collaboration with NRCS Kalikot District Chapter implements ‘Enabling Action for Community Health’ (EACH) project supported by Swiss Red Cross (SRC) and British Red Cross (BRC). EACH project comprises Institutional Development, Community Health (including WASH) and DRR-CCA components. The project has been being implemented in Sanni Triveni Rural Municipality of Kalikot district. NRCS Karnali Province Chapter invites applications from suitable and qualified Nepali citizens for the following position.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Diploma in civil engineering (Sub-Engineer) from recognized institution.
  • At least 2 years work experience related to the construction of water supply systems, sanitation facilities, buildings. Work experience in DRR project will be an asset.
  • Good in English language and experienced in using computer applications (AutoCAD, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, etc)
  • Good skills of using different survey equipment. Abney level, Auto level machine, Theodolite, etc.
  • Experience in facilitation, coordination, report writing, presentation skills and willing to work in remote project areas.
  • Age limit : 21-45 Years

Community Facilitator

Project site: Ward. 1, 2, 3 of Sanni Triveni Rural Municipality of Kalikot district
Minimum Requirements:
  • Completed CMA/ANM course with at least 1 year of work experience in health, WASH and DRR-CCA

  • Candidate must be from Sanni Triveni Rural Municipality, Kalikot. Preference will be given to the local candidate from Ward 1, 2 and 3

  • Have knowledge and experience of community health and local level health system

  • Have effective communication and facilitation skills and willingness to work in remote areas

  • Good in English language and computer skills.

  • Age limit: 21-35 years for men and 21-40 years for women
  • Salary: approx. Rs. 21,800/- per month

The above position is contractual initially for six months with possibility of extension.
