Nutrition Programme
The Village Development Society is preparing to implement a nutrition programme aimed at strengthening the management and treatment of acute malnutrition and improving community-level nutrition outcomes. This initiative is subject to funding, and the organization is about to apply for the required funding to support this programme. In anticipation of a successful award, the following positions are being advertised to build a qualified pool of candidates for prompt deployment once funding is confirmed.
Position: Programme Coordinator
Nos: 1

Position Summary
The Programme Coordinator will be responsible for the overall management, technical oversight, coordination, and quality assurance of the nutrition programme, serving as the primary focal point for liaison with government counterparts and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance to project teams and oversee overall programme management and technical oversight.
- Support programme planning and implementation, ensuring adherence to programme objectives.
- Facilitate coordination across sectors and stakeholders, including relevant government counterparts.
- Represent the programme and the organization in relevant health and nutrition coordination platforms.
- Ensure quality assurance across all programme components and support visibility, knowledge sharing, and dissemination of lessons learned.
- Serve as the primary point of contact on programmatic and coordination matters with donors and partners.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Substantial professional experience managing donor-funded health/nutrition programmes, preferably with UN agencies or INGOs.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder coordination with government and development partners at provincial and district levels.
- Strong leadership, representation, and communication skills.

Position Summary
The Admin and Finance Officer will be responsible for financial management and administrative support in line with organizational policies and donor requirements, ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely financial reporting throughout implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor programme budgets and track expenditures against approved plans.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and records in line with donor and organizational requirements.
- Prepare periodic financial reports for submission to donors and internal management.
- Ensure compliance with agreed financial procedures, policies, and donor regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the programme team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in financial management and administration, preferably on donor-funded projects.
- Sound knowledge of financial reporting, budget monitoring, and compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

Position Summary
The Monitoring and Reporting Officer will lead routine monitoring, reporting, documentation, and knowledge management for the programme, ensuring data quality and alignment with the Health Management Information System (HMIS).
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate monitoring data from field locations, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Compile monthly and periodic narrative and quantitative reports for donors and internal stakeholders.
- Support alignment of programme reporting with the Health Management Information System (HMIS).
- Document best practices, lessons learned, and case stories to inform adaptive programme management.
- Support knowledge management and reporting to stakeholders on programme progress.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Statistics, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting for health or nutrition programmes.
- Familiarity with HMIS or similar health information systems.
- Strong analytical, data management, and report-writing skills.
Position: Nutrition Officer

Position Summary
The Nutrition Officers will oversee day-to-day programme implementation at the local level, providing direct technical support to health facilities, health workers, and community health volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support data verification, planning, coordination, and monitoring of nutrition interventions.
- Support screening, referral, treatment, and follow-up of beneficiaries in accordance with programme guidelines.
- Ensure proper management, utilization, and distribution of supplementary nutrition supplies at health facilities.
- Conduct regular supportive supervision and on-site coaching/counselling for health workers and community volunteers.
- Support community mobilization activities related to nutrition interventions.
- Verify data quality and contribute to compliance with programme standards, accountability, and quality service delivery.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field (relevant diploma with strong field experience may be considered).
- Prior field-level experience in nutrition or public health programme implementation.
- Experience working with health facilities, health workers, and community volunteers.
- Willingness to travel and work in field-based locations as required.

The Community Mobilization Officer will lead community engagement and social and behaviour change activities, working closely with local leaders, community groups, and health volunteers to promote awareness and uptake of nutrition services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and facilitate community sensitization and awareness sessions on nutrition and health practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local groups, and community health volunteers.
- Support social and behaviour change communication (SBCC) activities aligned with programme objectives.
- Identify and address community-level barriers to accessing nutrition services.
- Support outreach and referral linkages between communities and health facilities.
- Document community feedback, success stories, and lessons learned to inform programme adaptation.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in community mobilization, social and behaviour change communication, or similar community engagement work.
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience working with local communities, community groups, and health volunteers.
Position: Warehouse Storekeeper

Position Summary
The Warehouse Storekeeper will be responsible for the day-to-day management of food stock and inventory, coordinating with the Programme Coordinator on issuance and dispatch, documentation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day food stock and inventory at the assigned warehouse.
- Coordinate with the Programme Coordinator on issuance and dispatch of stock.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of stock movements.
- Ensure compliance with Good Warehouse Practices, including quality and food safety of stored commodities.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Secondary education or higher; relevant training in warehouse or inventory management is an asset.
- Prior experience in warehouse management, ideally involving food commodities.
- Knowledge of Good Warehouse Practices and basic food safety/quality standards.
- Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
