The organisation engaged in community development and humanitarian assistance sectors with the thematic area of WASH, Health, and Education promotion in the Terai region of Nepal. It works for the poor, vulnerable, marginalised, socially excluded communities, and institutions (Including children, women, youth, schools and health centres also) with the support of different funding agencies for meet encourage social and economic development and uphold the well-being and human rights of them.

Campaign Nepal for Research & Development (Campaign Nepal) is a non-political, secular, and non-profit organisation established in 2008, headquartered in Rautahat District. Campaign Nepal works primarily in the Terai region while extending its interventions nationwide. The organisation focuses on community development and humanitarian assistance in the areas of good governance, health, water and sanitation, education, livelihood promotion, and disaster risk reduction (DRR).

In partnership with national and international development actors, Campaign Nepal advances social and economic justice while safeguarding the rights and dignity of vulnerable and marginalised communities, including women, children, youth, and persons with disabilities.

Campaign Nepal is currently implementing the “Strengthening Civil Society for Inclusive Democracy and Human Rights (SAMA-SAMA Project)” in selected local governments of Madhesh Province:

  • Sarlahi District: Dhankaul Rural Municipality and Hariwan Municipality
  • Mahottari District: ManraSiswa Municipality and Ekdara Rural Municipality
  • Dhanusha District: Laxminiya Rural Municipality and Chhireswarnath Municipality

We invite applications from qualified and motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions:

1. Finance and Administrative Officer (FAO) – 1 Position

Duty Station: Gaur, Rautahat

Contract Type: Project-based, Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage finance and administration at the provincial office in compliance with organisational and donor standards.
  • Prepare budgets, financial reports, and ensure adherence to Nepal’s taxation and labour laws.
  • Oversee procurement, logistics, audits, and financial documentation.
  • Provide technical support to project teams and CSOs in financial management and reporting.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Financial Management, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in finance, administration, and compliance within NGOs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of donor and government compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Civic Engagement Facilitator (CEF) – 6 Positions (one per project LGU)

Duty Station: Assigned Local Government Unit (as listed above)

Contract Type: Project-based, Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate civic engagement, awareness, and community mobilisation activities.
  • Support CSOs, WMGs, and youth groups to promote inclusive democracy, governance, and human rights.
  • Organise town halls, dialogues, and accountability forums at the community level.
  • Mentor community groups and document case studies and lessons learned.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Social Work, Development Studies, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in civic engagement, CSO strengthening, or community mobilisation.
  • Experience working with local governments and marginalised groups.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and networking skills in English and Nepali.
