1. The Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN) DGM Nepal Project has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the DEDICATED GRANT MECHANISM FOR INDIGENOUS PEOPLES AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES IN NEPAL (DGM Nepal Project) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Local-level orientations and training on the Benefit Sharing Plan.
2. The Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN) DGM Nepal Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for: Procurement of Non-Consulting Services on Technical Support to Bamboo Entrepreneurs as Small Grantee.
3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers -” July 2016 (Updated September 2025). and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. This contract will be jointly financed by the World Bank. Bidding process will be governed by the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations.”
5. Information necessary to enable potential Bidders to decide whether or not to respond to the Request for Bids. Bidding Document may require Bidders to have eligibility and experience or capabilities are as follows:
- Official registration in Nepal
- PAN/VAT Registration
- Tax Clearance Certificate of fiscal year 2081/082
- License/work permit for particular work / work / Another Valid Document’s)
- At least 10 years’ experience in bamboo enterprise technical supports
- Capacity to manage required experts and technicians to provide the hands on supports to the small grantee (bamboo focused)
- Experience on Sustainable Forest management and NTFP harvesting, Enterprise development and value chain analysis, Business development services (BDS) and Market linkage facilitation
6. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the address below and inspect the bidding document during office hours (i.e. 09:00 to 17:00 hours) at the address below
7. The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs 3,000 till July 10, 2026 during office hours. The Bidder shall deposit the cost of bidding document in the account as specified below:

8. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 1:00 PM on July 11, 2026. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 2:00 PM on July 11, 2026.
9. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” amounting to a minimum of NRs 160,000, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e. November 07, 2026)
