SODEIN Nepal hereby invites applications from qualified, smart, competent and self-motivated Nepali citizens for the following position:

Position Details

Position: Provincial Project Coordinator (with 75% field travel)

Number of Positions: Two (2)

Office: Madhyapur Thimi–03, Bhaktapur

Project Area: Bagmati Province & Madhesh Province

Employment Type: Full-time

Reporting To: Managing Director

Contract Duration: Initially One Year (with possibility of extension based on performance)

Probation Period: Six Months

Major Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of assigned projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, local governments, partners, and community groups.
• Prepare work plans, budgets, and ensure timely execution of project activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting (both narrative and financial).
• Supervise field staff and provide technical guidance and support.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
• Monitor project progress and prepare periodic progress reports.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and training programs.
• Support resource mobilization and proposal development as required.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination within the organization.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Management, Agriculture or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination/management in NGO/INGO sector.
• Proven experience in project planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of community development and social mobilization approaches.
• Experience working with government agencies and local stakeholders is preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Excellent leadership, coordination and team management skills.
• Strong communication, proposal, report writing and presentation skills (both Nepali and English).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity, accountability and professionalism.
