Position: Project Manager

Location: RHERI Office – Baijanath-1, Chisapani, Banke

Deadline: 25 June, 2025

Rara Human & Environmental Resource Development Initiative (RHERI) is seeking a dynamic and committed Project Manager to lead and coordinate its childcare and education project, including child-focused and disability-inclusive initiatives.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in NGO/project management.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Prior work experience in the disability sector or with children and youth will be considered a strong asset.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate stakeholders, and manage multi-sectoral programs.
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with basic account keeping, auditing and accounting principles, budget tracking, accounting software such as FAMAS, Tally, or others.
• Ability to develop reports, work plans, budgets, and coordinate field-level monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of RHERI programs.
• Ensure quality reporting, documentation, and compliance with donor requirements.
• Supervise project staff and promote a collaborative and accountable work culture.
• Coordinate with local government, donors, and community stakeholders.
• Contribute to proposal writing, budgeting, and strategic planning.
