CDC Doti is a Provincial non-profit organization, NGO working for the social and economic empowerment of people under the vulnerable zone and community. It was established on 16/09/2049 B.S and has been serving since 30 years for the same cause for social empowerment, inclusive and quality access to education, Disaster Preparedness and Humanitarian Response. Over the period since its inception, CDC has had long experience working with government, international non-government agencies, community based organization in various sectors of social and economic development. In addition, CDC supports community capacity strengthening for rural development, community groups and people on advocacy development in various sectors. CDC believes in human potentials and strives to empower social well-being, community-led development, accountability to community, donors and stakeholders, government and non-government agencies. In this period CDC Doti has developed strong networking, professional relationship among various organizations, networks and structures in the district and province . CDC has hands-on experience on social development, capacity strengthening of local level government, community based organization in Nepal.

Background of Organization:
The Community Development Centre (CDC), established in B.S. 2049 by a group of dedicated development professionals and activists, is a well-recognized non-governmental organization with more than three decades of experience in community empowerment. With strong technical expertise, robust financial systems, and deep understanding of the local context, CDC has successfully led inclusive and multi-sectoral programs in Sudurpaschim Province. Its work spans across inclusive education, health, WASH, disaster risk reduction, youth engagement, child protection, and women’s empowerment. By addressing pressing challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, harmful social practices, governance gaps, low educational performance, and persistent barriers for marginalized groups, the organization has played a pivotal role in driving sustainable improvements in the lives of vulnerable communities.
CDC (Community Development Center) is implementing SHIELD-IPF for Child wellbeing Project in partnership with World Vision International Nepal (WVIN). The project is implementing in Aadarsh RM, Sayal RM, Purbichauki RM and DSMP municipality of Doti District. Hence, CDC is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens for following position.
Following Position:
1. Position: IMPACT+ Officer
2. Location: Doti
3. Special requirement: Female Only (Age between 25-30 Years)
4. Requirement education/skill/experience:
- Bachelor's degree, Social Sciences, Social Work, Education or a related discipline (qualification in youth work would be highly valued).
- Experience in supporting young people with developing appropriate life and work readiness skills.
- Proven ability to provide community support and understanding of community development and participatory processes.
- Experience and recognized expertise in models and methods of training, facilitation and capacity building for staff and communities.
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, including sampling, survey design, data analysis, and the application of these methods to project Design, Monitoring and Evaluation standards.
- Has strong training and facilitation skills while working with youth, Passionate to work with adolescents and youth.
- Monthly budget forecast and planning, quarterly expense tracking and review of expenses.
- Good report writing skills for monthly, semi-annual and annual reports.
- Sound skills in capacity assessment/training need assessment process and tools for staff and target group and project staff mentoring and onsite support.
- Motivational, encouragement and energizing skills for youth/ adolescents.
- Understanding of the culture and conditions in area, Knowledge of experiential education methodologies
- Understanding of approaches to positive youth development
- A good command of the English, Nepali and Local Language.
- Strong computer literacy skills including MS Office, e-mail and internet.
- Understanding child protection, genders sensitivity and safeguarding.
5. Key Responsibility
- Selection, Onboarding and Training of IMPACT+ Club Leaders
- Formation of IMPACT+ Clubs
- Mentoring and management of IMPACT+ Club Leaders Coaching and support of IMPACT+ Clubs
- Participation in IMPACT+ Club local and international platforms
- Create Networks and Partnerships
- Evidences, Records and evaluation
