Child Development Nepal (CDN), established in 2015 in Sarlahi, is a social organization dedicated to improving the lives of marginalized children, youth, women, and disadvantaged communities through education, health, nutrition, livelihood promotion, women empowerment, and humanitarian response. Working across ten municipalities, CDN has implemented major initiatives such as the “Education and Livelihood for Dignified Life” project with Aide et Action Nepal, while also providing critical support during disasters, including floods and COVID-19. Over the years, it has benefited thousands—enrolling out-of-school children, offering scholarships, enhancing teaching quality, providing vocational trainings, and distributing relief materials. Guided by strong governance, comprehensive policies, and a committed team, CDN continues to promote child rights, gender equality, social inclusion, and community resilience through sustainable, people-centered development.
