Introduction:

In Nepal, ADRA has been a trusted development partner for over 38 years, with expertise in health, livelihoods, education, and disaster risk management. We work with all three levels of government and with civil society nationwide, with a focus on the provinces of Madhesh, Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim.
Project Overview:
The CSO Actions for a Resilient Ecosystem and Community (Samvardhan) project, funded by the European Union and the Austrian Development Cooperation through ADRA Austria, is being implemented by ADRA Nepal, Asia Network for Sustainable Agriculture and Bioresources (ANSAB Nepal), Federation of Community Forestry Users Nepal (FECOFUN), and Bheri Environmental Excellence Group (BEE Group). The project is being implemented in Kohalpur Municipality and Rapti-Sonari Rural Municipality of Banke District, and Thakurbaba Municipality and Madhuwan Municipality of Bardiya District. Its primary aim is to empower Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), particularly Community Forest User Groups (CFUGs) and farmers’ groups, to restore and conserve biodiversity and ecosystems for sustainable use and equitable sharing. The project focuses on five main outputs:
- Strengthened capacities of forest user groups in sustainable forest management approaches in line with National Forest Stewardship Standards (NFSS).
- Enhanced capacities of farmer groups in climate-smart farming and wildlife-resilient farming practices.
- Increased capacities of community-based enterprises in utilizing natural resources and ecosystem services.
- Improved capacities of public and private sectors in joint development and implementation of policies, guidelines, and plans at the local level on conservation and sustainable utilization of forest and farm resources.
- Increased awareness of national stakeholders and the public on key environmental goals, frameworks, and relevant issues.
ADRA Nepal would like to invite technical and financial proposals for consultancy firms for the developing the video documentary and short video clips for ADRA Nepal’s Samvardhan project referring to the following details.
The following outcomes were expected from this activity,
- High-quality video documentary both in Nepali and English language for 11-14 minutes (covering all areas of Samvardhan project’s progress) will be developed,
- More than 21 high-quality short video documentaries (2-3 minutes) and one long video (8-10 minutes) on
- overall background of Sustainable Forest Management Practices, Operational Plan developing process of CFUGs-Planning to sell the products including SFM training
- Climate resilient agriculture technologies including wildlife farming practices and climate farmers field school.
- Impact level stories with quotes/statement of individual entrepreneur of different FSTPs/Enterprises 20.
- Short interviews of Palika’s level authorities (mayor, deputy mayor, CAO, Agriculture unit, DFO or sub divisional office) including different policies impact and sustainability of the project.
- Capture the school level activities including students, teachers and eco clubs.
- Documentary will be broadcasted on National Television in relevant forums to show the Samvardhan project progress and impact to beneficiaries.
- Guiding interview questions with interviewed people should be in the direction of: What was difficult before? What changed? What can you do now that you could not do before? What difference has this made to your family/community?

Interested consultancy company/firms can apply. Proposal should submit to tenders@adranepal.org or drop hardcopy at ADRA Nepal Office, Maitri Marg Bakhundol-1, Lalitpur, until 27 October 2026.
Following documents must be submitted with proposal;
- Be on your organization’s letter head with sign-off.
- Contain both Technical and Financial proposals along with travel schedule and timeline of deliverables.
- Copy of VAT/PAN registration certificate.
- Copy of Company Registration Certificate,
- Copy of Tax Clearance Certificate,
- Similar at least two past work experience documents/videos, or links.
- similar works references from at least two past clients.
