National Campaign for Education Nepal, a national network of more than 508 national and grassroots level organizations, is seeking qualified, motivated and dedicated candidates for the following positions.
Admin & Finance Officer
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise financial staff work and ensure quality
- Review and implement financial policies and procedures in compliance with organizational guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Preparation of payroll and voucher and ensure correct deduction of Retirement Fund, personal expenses and advances if any
- Take lead in auditing and ensuring other financial compliance of organization
- Oversee the administrative functions of the organization, including office management, procurement and logistics.
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, financing and related subjects
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, human resources, administrative and office management in donor-funded development projects or related field preferable in a CSOs.
- Strong background in donor reporting and communication
- Strong background and experience in financial planning, budgeting, implementation and analysis
- Ability to prepare and track the budget information and advise the management
- Ability to provide financial and management information as required by the management
- Good knowledge and understanding of government financial and tax-related policies
- Good skills in financial and administrative management and internal control systems
- Sound knowledge and skill in operating TALLY and other accounting software
- Sound ability to carry out multi-tasks and work under pressure
- Have strong leadership & supervision skills and ability to motivate other staff in the organization
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
- Sound understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken
