Campaign Nepal for Research & Development (hereafter referred to as Campaign Nepal) is a non-political, secular, and non-profit organisation established in 2008, headquartered in Rautahat district. We implement programmes across Nepal's Terai region, focusing on community development and humanitarian assistance in key areas: health, water and sanitation, education, Livelihood promotion, and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). In partnership with various agencies, we strive to advance social and economic development while upholding the rights, welfare, and interests of poor, vulnerable, marginalised, and socially excluded communities, including children, women, youth, schools, and health centres.
Currently, Campaign Nepal is executing the "Women Voice and Leadership in Anticipatory Action" initiative, known as the Sajag Samaj Project, in Rajdevi Municipality and Durga Bhagwati Rural Municipality, Rautahat district, Madhesh Province. Position: Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Officer (Female Candidates Only)

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related discipline.
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion, or related fields.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Purpose of the Position:
The GESI Officer will ensure women’s voice and leadership are integrated into formal and informal anticipatory action mechanisms, embedding gender equality, social inclusion, and disaster risk management (DRM) across all project interventions. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the quality implementation of activities at the field level.
- Coordinating with anticipatory action and stakeholders.
- Identifying and addressing key gaps and challenges faced by women and girls in target communities.
- Building the capacity of facilitators and providing guidance during project activities.
- Leading joint advocacy efforts and mobilising networks to support project goals.
