Front-end Developer

We are looking for a skilled Front-end Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Front-end Developer, you should be responsible for thinking conceptually to drive designs and development in coordination with core and business team by interacting with developers and other stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
2. Writing clean, functional code on the front- and handle back-end.
3. Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
4. Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
5. Design client-side and server-side architecture.
6. Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
7. Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
8. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
9. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
10. Create security and data protection settings.
11. Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
12. Write technical documentation and APIs.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

1. Exposure to Material UI (V4), Bootstrap (V5, V4).
2. Knowledge of Web Services (REST APIs), XML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
3. Exposure of tools like Git, Docker, JIRA and other similar tools would be an advantage.
4. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment is crucial.
5. Knowledge of React Native for mobile app development would be an added advantage.
6. Working or project-level experience in React JS. VueJS & PHP will be added advantage.
7. Knowledge of Databases, like PostGres and MySQL in Windows and/or Unix/Linux based platforms.
8. Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
9. At least 2 years of work experience in front-end development with good knowledge of major computer languages, databases, and designing.
10. At least University degree in engineering/ science, IT/IS, computer applications or related field.
