Details / requirements:
Sentinel is hiring a senior Flutter Developer to engineer applications that will run across Android and iOS. We are looking for someone passionate about performance, reliability, and design with the experience and credentials to back up that passion. Someone who can take ownership of applications, solve technical challenges, and take pride in their solutions and code.
The ideal candidate will have experience building native applications, JavaScript knowledge, and a portfolio of applications already published either in the app store or self-hosted.
You’ll be a key member of the team tasked with contributing to several high-value projects within Sentinel.
Primary Functions/Job Description
Develop mobile apps using Dart/Flutter
· Translate and build the designs from wireframes into a high-quality responsive UI code
· Resolve any problems existing in the system; suggest and add new features to the complete system
· Follow the best practices while developing the app and also keep everything structured and well documented
· Communicate with the Product Manager regarding the status of projects and suggest appropriate deadlines for new functionalities
· Ensure security best practices and guidelines are always followed while developing the app
· Interact with Product Manager to help understand end-user feedback
· Maintain software through product lifecycle including design, development, verification, and bug fixes
Qualifications
· Flutter design and Architecture experience
· Knowledge of Dart programming language, Rest APIs and integration of various APIs from third parties.
· Have two or more iOS/Android apps developed with Flutter
· 5+ years’ experience in software development
· Over two years’ experience in developing Flutter applications
· Experience with third-party libraries and APIs;
· Experience in Redux framework, Firebase
· Proven experience in writing readable code, creating extensive documentation for existing code, and refactoring previously written code
Advantageous
Java/Swift experience;
Experience with optimizing applications for Material Design.
IDE: Android Studio, XCode
Ability to work as a team member
Fluent verbal and written English
