Job Description:
We are looking for an Actionscript 3 Developer to develop, implement and maintain a data visualization application. The individual must show strong understanding of functionality, usability and optimization.
Role and Responsibilities :
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Develop simple to complex Flash Applications using AS3
Create intuitive user interface for Flash Application
Design attractive screens/banners using Vector Graphics
Understand customer requirements and be able to suggest alternatives
Get involved in discussions providing feedback from Flash development level
Develop XAML graphical components
Develop Flex UI
Requirements and Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Highly proficient in Actionscript 3 development
3 years of software development including at least 2 years professional experience specifically with Actionscript development
You have the following experience and profile :
Experience of working on large development projects through the full development cycle
Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and modern software design.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate software functionality to non-developers
A proven track record of designing and developing complex Flash applications (examples to be shown)
Ability to work in a fast-paced and very dynamic environment.
Collaborative and product-focused attitude.
Ability to Work in small team, and on own initiative, to quickly produce highly-optimized code
Desire and ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies
Comfortable working in a very fast paced environment where ideas are implemented in a span of hours to days.
Background in any of the following is a bonus:
Knowledge of source control programmes(particularly SVN)
Experience in QA and maintenance as well as development
Customer service oriented
Flex UI designs using Flex Builder
Expression Blend/XAML
