Detailed Job description / requirements:

Job Description

  1. Management of finance department
  2. Management of Accounts receivables and Accounts payables
  3. Ensuring up to date books of accounts is maintained in the company at all time
  4. Sounds knowledge of VAT returns, TDS returns, Income Tax returns, returns as per Company Act are filed timely and accurately
  5. Knowledge of Auditing
  6. Assist to conduct internal, external audits timely and effectively
  7. Liaising with tax offices, auditors, banks, agents, hotels, airlines, others
  8. Able to prepare documentation and paper work for PERMITS & FEES of Clients (Trekkers)
  9. Should be able to do work of procurement of trekking food, equipment's orders
  10. Able to physically attend purchasing goods during purchase of any items
  11. Able to research & analyze market inflation
  12. Should be able to analyze and exercise suppliers price offers

  • Should be able to multi task
  • Should be cheerful, and handle task without hesitation
  • Work load is 80% DESK & Computers - and 20% related to visit suppliers and research outside of OFFICE within Kathmandu City
  • Actual travel experience is helpful, but not mandatory; however, you must be interested in learning and be able to do internet research quickly and efficiently
  • Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and basic Photoshop
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organized and efficient! Must be able to prioritize, produce and keep track of multiple projects and files simultaneously
  • Understanding the big picture.  we are a small company in a tough economy; we have a very unique, interesting product but must always be looking for new ways to get our name out there and expand our audience
  • Must be trustworthy, energized and should think on your feet
  • Should be able to use the company's operational software
  • Should be able to use excel intensively or intermediate level
  • Should be able to related and explain details of operation to other colleague
  • Should be able to be Organized and efficient.  Must be able to prioritize, produce and keep track of multiple projects and files simultaneously
  • Should be able to handle and explain field staffs
  • Should be able to orient and train field staffs during SEASONS and OFF Season
  • Should be able to work closely with other staff
  • Should be creative, work independently
  • Work directly along side with director
