Vacancy Announcement Child Health & Environment Save Society Nepal (CHESS Nepal) is an NGO established in 1998. It has been actively working in partnership with several funding agencies on various projects focused on integrated livelihood, education, health and environment in western Nepal since its inception. We require to fulfill the following positions immediately for one of our partnership projects and call for application from qualified candidates. 1. Position required: Finance officer (One) This position is Pokhara based but the successful candidate has to make frequent visits to Lamjung, Gorkha, Tanahun and Kathmandu. The candidate should • Have completed a Bachelor degree in Management. • Have excellent skills on preparing financial proposals and reports. • Have computer skills to work efficiently in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point in addition to typing skills in English and Nepali languages and basic working knowledge on Adobe Photoshop. • Be fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali languages. • Have a two-year work experience in related field. 2. Position required: Veterinary JTA (Two) This position is field-based in Kaski and Lamjung each and requires a lot of travel to remote areas. Thus the candidate should clearly mention the district he/she has applied for. The candidate should have • Completed a veterinary JTA course from an approved technical institute in Nepal. • Adequate skills on handling animals and clinical cases particularly those of goat, buffalo, and cows. • Computer skills to work efficiently in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point. • Sufficient report writing skills. • Good communication skills. • One-year work experience in related field. Salary and benefits for both the above positions will be as per CHESS Nepal’s rules and regulation.
