Finance Manager/Procurement Manager

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Nepal Hydro & Electric Limited (NHE) is leading Company involved in Hydro and Electro mechanical equipment including HV substations, manufacturing and installation& repair for hydro & electric sector. NHE is seeking self-confident, dynamic and result oriented individual for the following position:

Position  : Finance Manager No. of Post : 1 (One)  Level – XIDuty Station : Butwal

Major Responsibilities:

1. Overall responsibilities of Finance Division (Account, Store and Costing section) of the company. 
2. Be responsible for the financial planning of the Company in close consultation with the CEO. 
3. Maintain the accounts and costing of the Company in accordance with IFRS and principles and to prepare the required financial statements monthly.
4. Be responsible to carry out adequate checks and controls regarding Cash, Inventories and Collection of Receivable.
5. Approve cash advances and expenses as per Company policy.
6. Carry out promptly the decisions of the Board with regard to finance and accounts.
7. In consultation with the HR Manager, responsible for hiring staff of own Division as per the approved plans, for performance evaluation and taking disciplinary actions. 
8. Prepare Cash Flow Statement as per requirement.

Qualifications and Experience: 

Position : Procurement Manager No. of Post : 1 (One)  Level – XIDuty Station : Butwal

Major Responsibilities:

1. To supervise the employees and performance of procurement office.
2. To develop and maintain procurement system and maintain proper goods’ purchase records of the company.
3. To provide information to the purchasers/indenters regarding the price, availability, specification and quality of materials.
4. To negotiate with customers, suppliers and subcontractors to achieve fair deal for goods/services timely.
5. To establish good working relationship with suppliers/manufacturers ensuring reliable, consistent and quality products.
6. To get involved in the tendering processes as well for electrical/mechanical bids.

Qualifications and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from recognized university/institute with 6 years’ relevant work experience in procurement of mechanical/electrical goods or Master's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from the recognized university/institute with at least 3 years relevant work experience in procurement of mechanical electrical goods. Candidates having exposure in hydro power projects will be given preference.

Type of employment: On contract basis with possibility of being regular, based on performance.
