Position: Finance Head

Salary range: Rs. 85,000 (Negotiable)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Head to lead our dynamic team and oversee all aspects of our financial operations. You will play a pivotal role in driving strategic financial decisions, ensuring financial health, and contributing to the overall success of our company. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire finance department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Ensure compliance with the applicable laws to the company including Income Tax, VAT, excise, customs, labor laws, and industrial laws amongst others.
• Manage cash flow effectively and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs
• Prepare accurate and timely financial and inventory reports for banking purposes in order to process loans, letter of credit and related purposes.
• Ensure timely collection of account receivables.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, implement internal controls, and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Partner with other departments, including sales, marketing, stores, and operations, to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
• Regularly monitor the movement of inventory items and debtors and disseminate the report to the executive level for strategic decision.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, bankers, and investors.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in financial management. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA or MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar leadership role within the wine industry or manufacturing industry for CA or MBA and a minimum of 5 years of experience for candidates holding Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and relevant laws and regulations.
