Field Public Health Officer

The Field Public Health Officer (FPHO) will be based in a rural municipality in Sudurpaschim Province. The FPHO is responsible for strengthening basic health system of the rural municipality through supervision of upgrading and operation of basic amenities in health facilities; facilitating capacity building of health workforce and Female Community Health Volunteers; health awareness among the communities e.g. schools and students, coordination with local and provincial governments and stakeholders. S/he is also responsible for monitoring of the basic amenities, supporting health workforce in the operation of health facilities and health campaigns, learning and documentation. This is a position suitable for a dynamic young person who is willing to work in a rural context with frequent movement in the project area. The applicant should have a bachelors degree in public health with at least two years experience in the relevant field.
