Fashion Designer

1. Design & Product Development

• Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes
• Develop new designs aligned with brand identity and market demand
• Create design sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings
• Finalize design specifications for production
• Work on seasonal and capsule collections

2. Sampling & Prototyping

• Coordinate with tailors, sample masters, and factories for prototypes
• Review samples and suggest corrections (fit, fabric, finishing)
• Ensure designs are production-feasible and cost-effective
• Approve final samples before bulk production

3. Production Coordination

• Work closely with production teams/vendors to execute designs
• Monitor production timelines and follow up on daily progress
• Ensure correct materials, trims, and measurements are used
• Support production teams with design clarifications when needed

4. Quality & Fit Control

• Check fittings, stitching, finishing, and overall garment quality
• Ensure products meet brand standards and customer expectations
• Identify issues early and suggest corrective actions

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with marketing, merchandising, and sales teams
• Provide design inputs for photoshoots, catalogs, and campaigns
• Support product costing and pricing discussions
