Strengthening Civil Society for Inclusive Democracy and Human Rights in Nepal and the Philippines (SAMA-SAMA) is a 3-year development project managed by the Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI), with the funding support from Global Affairs Canada (GAC). Forum for Protection of Public Interest (Pro Public), established in 1991, a national-level non-governmental organization working in the areas of democracy, good governance, inclusion, gender equality, social justice, and civic engagement, is a national thematic partner for the implementation of this project. The Project aims to strengthen civil society in Nepal to reinforce civic engagement and democratic participation among women and marginalized groups (WMGs).

Pro Public is seeking expression of interests from qualified, experienced, and motivated Nepali Resource Person/Expert for the following assignment.

Resource Person/Expert – To Design tailored capacity-strengthening modules informed by the self-assessment results

Task: Produce a capacity-strengthening modules for Capacity-Development Workshop of CSOs in Madhesh and Lumbini Province focusing for five modules (i) Organizational Governance, (ii) Effective Meetings and Minuting (iii), Role of CSOs/CBOs in Community and Local Governance, (iv) GESI/GBV – From Community Issues to Proposal Development, (v) Organizational Leadership – Leading a CSO/CBO

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Contract Type: Short-Term Consultancy Agreement

Duration: 8 days

Qualification & Experience: A minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least seven years of intensive and specific experience in training manual development.

Remuneration and Benefits:
