Position Summary

We are looking for a committed Electrical Engineer (P&C Protection & Control) to support the design and development of protection systems, control circuits, and automation for substation projects. Your work will include relay schemes, logic diagrams, SCADA wiring, AC/DC control circuits, and panel layouts. You will coordinate directly with U.S.-based engineers and help produce reliable and high-quality P&C design packages. This role suits engineers who are detail-oriented, enjoy technical problem-solving, and can manage several tasks at once.

The successful candidate's role and compensation will be commensurate with their experience and qualifications, with opportunities for Lead or Senior positions for the candidates with extensive, relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare P&C design drawings such as one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, panel wiring, and control house layouts.
  • Develop relay protection schemes for transformers, breakers, feeders, bus protection, and transmission lines.
  • Prepare wiring diagrams for SCADA, RTUs, relays, meters, and communication devices.
  • Support the creation of logic diagrams, interconnection diagrams, cable schedules, and device lists.
  • Review and apply manufacturer manuals for relays, control equipment, and protection devices.
  • Use AutoCAD and other tools (ETAP, CYME, or relay configuration software—training can be provided).
  • Coordinate with Electrical (Substation), Civil/Structural, and Communication teams to solve interface issues.
  • Review vendor drawings for relays, control panels, RTUs, batteries, chargers, and related equipment.
  • Support construction teams by answering RFIs, checking as-built drawings, and clarifying circuit logic when needed.
  • Manage deadlines, maintain organized documents, and communicate clearly with U.S. teams.
  • Ensure accuracy, safety, and consistency in all P&C design work.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Power Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in P&C, substation design, or power system engineering.
  • Basic understanding of relay logic, protection schemes, SCADA systems, and control circuits.
  • Familiarity with common protection relays (SEL, GE, ABB, or similar).
  • Good skills in AutoCAD; exposure to Revit or BIM workflows is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and logic drawings.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Good attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and time management.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working on substation P&C or transmission/distribution projects.
  • Experience with relay configuration or testing software (SEL AcSELerator, GE Enervista, etc.).
  • Familiarity with IEC 61850, SCADA protocols, or communication networks.
  • Knowledge of U.S. utility standards and documentation practices.
  • Experience reviewing control house layouts, RTU drawings, or panel fabrication drawings.

What We Offer

  • Direct experience working on U.S.-based protection and control projects.
  • Mentorship from experienced P&C and power system engineers.
  • A friendly and supportive international team environment.
  • Structured working hours and a positive office culture.
