National Mini and Micro Hydro Users Society Nepal (NAMHUS), a leading non-profit organization dedicated to the sustainability of micro hydro projects in Nepal, is seeking applications from qualified Nepali citizens for the following position:
Position: Electrical Engineer (1 position)
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- A solid understanding of micro hydro systems is essential.
- Strong documentation skills in both English and Nepali are required.
- Strong communication skills with local communities.
- Proficient in Autocad Electrical.
- Experienced in using software for distribution system load flow analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys for GIS mapping and prefeasibility studies of micro hydro power plants.
- Manage and submit applications for micro hydro power plant (MHP) grid connections through the relevant online portal.
- Prepare comprehensive feasibility study reports for the grid connection of micro hydro power plants.
- Develop single-line diagrams and perform transient analysis for micro hydro projects.
- Conduct literature reviews and perform software simulations for research initiatives undertaken by NAMHUS.
