Driver



The Local Adaptation to Climate Change (LACC) Project invites applications from qualified and experienced Nepali citizens for the position of Driver. The role is responsible for safe and timely transportation, vehicle maintenance, and supporting administrative and logistical functions of the Project.

Position: Driver (several positions)

Duty Station: Project Support Unit (PSU), Birendranagar, Surkhet (to be defined Cluster-Level duty station)

Minimum Requirements:

·       Education: Secondary Education Examination (SEE) passed

·       Driving Experience: At least 5 years (light vehicle, including remote/off-road conditions in Karnali and Sudurpashchim)

·       Valid Driving License (4-wheel, 4WD experience required)

·       Proven knowledge of traffic rules, vehicle logbook keeping, and safe driving practices

·       Fluency in Nepali and basic English communication

·       Experience with donor-funded projects, (I)NGOs, or international organizations is an advantage

Key Competencies:

·       Excellent driving and vehicle maintenance skills

·       Knowledge of logistics and administrative support

·       Computer, IT, and smartphone use skills an advantage

·       High sense of responsibility, punctuality, and discipline
