Position Title - Cook

Job Purpose:

The cook is responsible for preparing high-quality, mainly Nepali dishes and  restaurant style menu item such as burgers, sandwiches, chowmein and other dishes as required. The role is ensures that food is cooked safely, efficiently, and presented appealingly while maintaining clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities:

·        Prepare and cook menu items according to the requirement with appropriate timing.

·        Ensure stock and balance of required ingredients and cooking equipment's

·        Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices

·        Operate fryers, oven and other kitchen equipment safely and effiectively

·        Maintain kicthen cleanliness and assist with cleaning duties during and after shifts.

·        Follow and maintain discipline structure for portion, cooking and waste control

·        Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualification and Skill:

·        Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a fast food environment

·        Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment

·        Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

·        Good communication and teamwork skills.

·        Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen practices.
