Consultancy Services on Hiring an independent audit of Oxfam in Nepal for FY 2025/26 (April 2025 -March 2026) and FY 2082/83

Oxfam focuses its activities on providing a comprehensive response to poverty, working cohesively in the four areas that constitute its identity: development cooperation, humanitarian action, faire trade, social mobilization, campaigns and education for global citizenship. 

Oxfam are conducting a Request for Proposal (RFP) process and invites you to submit a proposal to provide Oxfam, within their requirements, for:

 TITLE: Consultancy Services on Hiring an independent audit of Oxfam in Nepal for FY 2025/26 (April 2025 -March 2026) and FY 2082/83

 Objective of the assignment: 

 The objective of this assignment is as below:

1.   To hire a consultant to support Oxfam in Nepal to present financial data and information correctly; compile data requested by Inland revenue Department and/or the Office of Auditors’ General on behalf of Oxfam, along with reconciliations; and liaise and coordinate with the government and other stakeholders as required for ongoing tax assessments on behalf of Oxfam in Nepal.

2.   To obtain reasonable assurance by reviewing the existing policies relating to its Accounting and Internal Control System and to identify issues and areas for improvement. Oxfam in Nepal is planning to conduct an independent Audit of its financial statement and financial transactions, Tax Audit. This audit will cover the transactions of Oxfam in Nepal Country Office and its selected program- implementing partners. Partner NGOs will be selected in the audit planning meeting.
