Oxfam are conducting a Request for Proposal (RFP) process and invites you to submit a proposal to provide Oxfam, within their requirements, for:
TITLE: Consultancy service on Midline survey for SCOPR3-II
Nepal Oxfam Program: Oxfam in Nepal, in funding support Oxfam America and in partnership with NEEDS-Kanchanpur, has been implementing the second phase project- “Strengthening Community Preparedness, Rapid Response and Recovery in Nepal” since January 2024. This three-year duration project activities are just started to implement in 40 different communities of four municipalities in Sudur Paschim Province of Nepal.
Objective of the assignment: The midline survey aims to assess the current status of project indicators as outlined in the SCOPR3-II project’s results framework and MEAL plan, serving as a reference point to measure progress against planned targets. Specifically, the survey will:
- Evaluate progress made toward key project’s disaster preparedness indicators (donor required) and national indicators in areas such as disaster risk reduction (DRR), resilient livelihoods, and inclusive local humanitarian leadership.
-Compare and examine changes in community resilience, preparedness, and the inclusion of women, marginalized, and vulnerable groups with past data.
-Capture significant positive or negative shifts in knowledge, attitudes, and practices among target people we work with and stakeholders related to DRR, livelihood diversification, enterprise development, market system functionality (in both normal and crisis contexts), and gender roles in decision-making.
-Identify opportunities and gaps for strengthening gender equality and social inclusion (GEDSI) in programming and local governance.
-Generate evidence-based insights to inform adaptive programming and strategic decision-making for the remaining implementation period.
