Oxfam are conducting a Request for Proposal (RFP) process and invites you to submit a proposal to provide Oxfam, within their requirements, for:

TITLE: Consultancy service on Base Line Survey and Rapid Need Assessment for an Upcoming Project

Oxfam Program:

Oxfam Nepal is designing an integrated Women empowerment project with focus on building women and their agencies capacity to influence on climate change adaptation programme and gender justice planning, programming and budget at local level. The overall objective of the project is to empower women living in climate change affected communities to be economically resilient, increase their leadership skill to influence and address the challenges they face due to combined effect of climate change and prevalent existing gender norms, discrimination and violence. The project will be implemented in 4 local level namely, Bhimdutta municipality, Kanchanpur and Parshuram rural municipality, Dadeldhura in Sudurpaschim province-7 and Brindaban municipality and Rajdevi municipality in Rautahat, Madhesh province 2. The project is mainly targeted for seasonal migrated families and disaster affected families. The outcomes of the project are:

• Increased women participation in climate resilient economic activities in communities impacted by climate change

• Creating enabling environment for women leadership and decision making in community level CBOs and committees to influence climate change and gender plan, program and budget at local level.

• Increased engagement of women, men, boys and families to reduce GBV and discrimination at community level
