Consultancy Service for Political Economy Analysis (PEA) on Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHH)

We change millions of lives every year, working in 26 countries to provide clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene. WaterAid has been working in Nepal since 1987. We team up with local partners, technical experts, governments, and communities to support the delivery of integrated WASH services in hard-to-reach communities, helping to transform lives.

Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHH) is a key priority within WaterAid Nepal's programme and advocacy work. Although Nepal has made significant progress in advancing MHH, challenges remain in policy coordination, institutional leadership, financing, and implementation across multiple sectors and levels of government. To better understand these dynamics and identify practical pathways for strengthening political prioritisation, coordination, and investment in MHH, WaterAid Nepal intends to undertake a Political Economy Analysis (PEA) of the MHH ecosystem in Nepal.

WaterAid Nepal therefore invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified consulting firms or individual consultants with demonstrated experience in Political Economy Analysis, governance, public policy, gender equality, WASH, public health, or related fields to undertake this assignment.

Interested firms or individual consultants are invited to submit their proposals via email, clearly marked as "Consultancy Service for Political Economy Analysis (PEA) on Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHH)", to nepal-procurement@wateraid.org no later than 2nd August 2026.
