Overview
Universal Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. (UTT) Nepal is a legal enterprise that primarily operates an airlines representative office in the capacity of a General Sales Agent (GSA). The Cargo Sales Executive will increase flydubai’s cargo revenue and uplift from Nepal by managing agent relationships, supporting pricing requests, conducting sales visits, monitoring competition, and capturing market intelligence while ensuring alignment with flyduabi product and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Agent Management
• Conduct 30 sales visits per month
• Maintain relationships with top cargo agents and update records weekly.
• Gather agent forecasts, rate expectations, and feedback on service/reliability.
• Support the launch of agent incentive schemes and promotional campaigns.
• Ensure flydubai’s cargo product range is clearly communicated to agents.
Pricing & Market Intelligence
• Prepare and submit ad hoc rate approval requests to flydubai HQ as needed.
• Track rate approvals and rejections, reporting trends to General Manager.
• Maintain competitor rate sheet.
• Collect OAL uplift and commodity insights through market visits.
• Identify opportunities for e-commerce, courier, and perishable cargo growth.
Sales Reporting & Performance Monitoring
• Submit weekly sales call reports (visits, leads, agent updates, competitor intel).
• Track monthly uplift performance against assigned agent clusters.
• Maintain updated lists of top agents and their monthly contributions.
• Report all service issues or agent complaints to General Manager.
Coordination with Cargo Operations
• Liaise daily with Ops to understand available space and payload restrictions.
• Provide agents with accurate cut-off times, space updates, and operational alerts.
• Track split shipments, delays, and offloads to maintain agent trust.
• Ensure correct documentation from agents to avoid operational delays.
Customer Service & Communication
• Respond promptly to agent rate queries and shipment inquiries.
• Prepare simple rate sheets and weekly WhatsApp/email broadcasts.
• Provide clear communication on shipments.
• Support agents with shipment troubleshooting and escalation.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related field (preferred).
• Diploma/certificate in aviation, logistics, or cargo sales may substitute with experience.
• Experience in cargo sales, freight forwarding, or airline commercial roles.
• Good knowledge of Kathmandu cargo market and top agents.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Organized, proactive, and able to complete field visits independently.
• High integrity and commitment to flydubai standards.
