Job Title: Contract-Based Cameraman

Job Description:

Nepal Film Production House Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a talented and experienced Cameraman (with own camera and lenses) to join our team on a contract basis. As a Cameraman, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage for various projects, including events, documentaries, interviews, and promotional videos. Your creative vision and technical expertise will play a crucial role in producing visually stunning content that aligns with our objectives and exceeds our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate professional video cameras and equipment to capture footage in a variety of settings and environments within a team or without.
• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Execute creative shot compositions, camera movements, and lighting setups to achieve desired visual effects.
• Ensure optimal audio and video quality by monitoring equipment, adjusting settings, and troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail and consistency to ensure continuity throughout the filming process.
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines, managing time effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve skills and stay ahead of the curve.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cameraman or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your videography skills and creative abilities.
• Proficiency in operating professional video cameras, DSLRs, and related equipment, with a deep understanding of camera settings, framing, and composition.
• Excellent knowledge of lighting techniques and principles, with the ability to create visually compelling scenes in various lighting conditions.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with directors, producers, and other crew members.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in diverse settings and environments, including outdoor locations and challenging conditions.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, with a passion for creating visually engaging content that resonates with audiences.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Film Production, Cinematography, or a related field is preferred.
