Call for Proposals: Wetlands Carbon Sequestration Assessment in Chitwan National Park and Buffer Zone, Nepal

WWF Nepal in coordination with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation (DNPWC) is conducting a field-based, direct measurement of wetland carbon assessment in Chitwan National Park and its Buffer Zone to quantify carbon stocks and estimate carbon sequestration potential of selected wetland ecosystems using direct, field-based scientific methodologies, and to generate credible, policy-relevant evidence to support conservation planning and implement strategic actions.

WWF Nepal seeks the services of a consultant to conduct a scientifically robust wetlands carbon sequestration assessment in Chitwan National Park and Buffer Zone using direct field measurements.

Interested VAT registered organizations are requested to submit technical and financial proposals providing a detail breakdown of total budget in Nepali rupees, electronically to: proposals-freshwater@wwfnepal.org with email subject as - “Wetland Carbon Assessment” and submit the proposal by 11th October 2026.
