Call for Proposals: External Evaluation of the “Gender-Friendly Himalayan School Project”

EcoHimal Nepal invites proposals from qualified consulting firms or teams of individual consultants to conduct an External Evaluation of the project titled “Gender-Friendly Himalayan School Project”. The project, implemented over a period of three years starting in January 2023, is financially supported by Help Alliance through EcoHimal Austria. It aims to improve:

• Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) education
• Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in Schools (WinS)
• Self-generated scholarship for needy students
• Nutrition education among school-going children and their mothers
• Climate-resilient cultivation practices from school to home by students to support nutrition and green consumption -mini agroforestry in school

The project is being implemented in six rural/municipalities across Kalikot, Achham, Solukhumbu, and Khotang Districts.

Interested consulting firms or teams of individual consultants are requested to submit their Technical and Financial Proposals, along with the CVs of three team members with expertise in the following areas: WASH in Schools (WinS), Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH)

The deadline for submission of proposals and all required documents is 19 October 2025.

Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for the next steps in the selection process.

Required Documents:

1. Narrative proposal (max. 3 pages) including:

• Relevant experience
• Proposed methodology
• Evaluation timeline
• Team composition and roles

2. Detailed financial proposal for the evaluation

3. Two sample evaluation reports (published or unpublished) approved by development partners, preferably in related thematic areas.

4. Firm registration documents (or VAT registration if applying as an individual)

5. Valid tax clearance certificate
