Call for proposal: Documentation of GHG Inventory Data for Nepal’s Second Biennial Transparency Report (BTR2)

Under the Capacity Building Initiative for Transparency (CBIT) Project -implemented by WWF Nepal in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forests and Environment (MoAFE), with financial support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) - WWF Nepal invites proposals from VAT registered Nepal based organizations for Documentation of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory data for Nepal’s Second Biennial Transparency Report (BTR2).

The assignment will cover the Energy, IPPU, Agriculture, LULUCF/AFOLU, and Waste sectors, with particular focus on updating and verifying 2022 data, compiling 2024 data, incorporating 2025 or later data where available, ensuring consistency with the BTR1 time series, entering data into the IPCC Inventory Software, conducting QA/QC and recalculations, and preparing supporting documentation, datasets, tables, figures, and narrative inputs for the BTR2 GHG inventory chapter.

Interested organizations are invited to submit their proposals to proposalsubmission@wwfnepal.org with the subject line “PROPOSAL-CBIT Data Collection” by 5:00 pm Nepal Standard Time on 30 August 2026.
