Call for proposal: Conduct 7 Provincial Trainings on Climate Transparency, MRV and the ETF Mechanism

Under the Capacity Building Initiative for Transparency (CBIT) Project, implemented by WWF Nepal in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forests and Environment (MoAFE), with financial support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF), WWF Nepal invites proposals from VAT-registered Nepal-based organizations to conduct seven provincial training programs on Climate Transparency, the Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) Framework, and the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF).

The assignment will focus on strengthening the capacity of provincial governments on the Paris Agreement and ETF requirements, Nepal’s National MRV Framework, GHG inventory data collection and reporting, NDC implementation tracking, adaptation reporting, climate finance transparency, and coordination among federal, provincial and local institutions. The consultant will develop training materials, conduct three-day trainings in all seven provinces, undertake pre- and post-training assessments, and prepare provincial and consolidated training reports.
