Call for Applications: Youth Advocacy Grant 2026

Restless Development Nepal

Restless Development Nepal invites youth-led groups from Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality (Bagmati), Tilottama Municipality (Lumbini), and Khadak Municipality (Madhesh) to apply for the Youth Advocacy Grant under the EU-funded Green Shift: Circularity of Plastic Waste for Net-Zero Carbon Nepal project.

This grant supports youth-led advocacy and community action on plastic waste reduction, solid waste management, and circular economy, enabling young people to take leadership in addressing local climate challenges.

Who Can Apply

  • Youth-led, registered groups (ages 18–28)
  • Based in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality (Bagmati), Tilottama Municipality (Lumbini), or Khadak Municipality (Madhesh)
  • Actively engaged in community or environmental action
  • Able to manage funds transparently with a bank account and PAN

(Established NGOs are discouraged from applying.)

What the Grant Offers

  • NPR 200,000 per selected group
  • Training, mentoring, and technical support
  • Opportunity to lead community advocacy and work with local stakeholders
  • Grant duration: 6 months (March–August 2026)

What You’ll Do

Selected youth groups will implement youth-led advocacy and community initiatives focused on plastic reduction and circular economy, including volunteer mobilization and local engagement.

How to Apply

Youth from women, Dalit, Janajati, Madhesi/Terai, and other marginalized communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
