World Vision International Nepal (WVI Nepal) is an INGO committed to working with vulnerable children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. WVINepalis seeking audit firms to establish a roster of external auditors to provide various auditing services throughout the year. The type of audits required include statutory audit, donor audits, agreed-upon procedures audits, and expenditure verification. 

The purpose of establishing this roster is to have a pool of pre-qualified audit firms that can be engaged by WVI Nepal when the need arises. By having a roster, WVI Nepal can streamline the process of selecting and engaging audit firms, ensuring efficiency and transparency in the audit service receives. Therefore, eligible audit firms who have relevant experience in the above-mentioned areas are invited to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI). Please be guided with the terms and conditions below for submitting your EOI.

Terms & Conditions

1. The firm must provide a copy of business registration, tax clearance and a signed copy of supplier code of conduct (see https://shorturl.at/jDFLQ) as minimum set of standards to do business with World Vision. 
2. The firm must be registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) as Chartered Accountants firm.
3. The firm must be in operation for a period of at least ten years. The firm have to demonstrate that it has the capacity, capability, expertise and experience required to undertake the external audit services within required timelines. 
4. The firm have to demonstrate adequate experience in International Non-Government/Humanitarian Organizations.
5. The firm should provide audit methodology and Curriculum Vitae for its partner/s, 
6. manager/s and key staff for the audit.
7. The firm must follow all legal requirements as per the regulations of Government of Nepal.
8. The firm should have experience in audit reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA.)
9. The firm should provide references (minimum two)for similar audits performed within the last five years.
10. Above mentioned documents must be submitted via email. The subject of the email must be “EOI for External Audit Services” and size of each email message should not exceed 10 MB. The email must be sent in a dedicated email address, that is: npl_scmbid@wvi.org. The document submission deadline is 21 June 2023 by 2:00 PM (Nepal Time). 
11. Term of Reference (TOR), along with Request for Proposal (RFP) for technical and financial proposal will be provided to the shortlisted firms after according to the roster. 
12. The procurement process shall be governed by WVINepal’s procurement policy.
13. WVI Nepal may at any time in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, withdraw or suspend the bidding process in whole or in part without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
