KURVE Wustrow

KURVE Wustrow is an INGO based in Germany with an office in Nepal, and conducts trainings, workshops and events in the field of civil, nonviolent conflict transformation at home and abroad. In the context of the Civil Peace Service program (CPS) funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the INGO is closely cooperating with partner organizations in the Balkans, Ukraine, Sudan, the Middle East, and in South and Southeast Asia. Since 2009 KURVE Wustrow is supporting partner organizations in Nepal.

Details / requirements:

KURVE Wustrow is a German INGO registered with Social Welfare Council of Nepal. The organization strengthens and disseminates active nonviolence and the reflection on it as a means of social improvements and the transformation of society to achieve greater justice.

In the years 2025 to 2027, subject to the availability of the fund, the organization plans to support four to six Nepalese NGOs and their projects that a) contribute to the awareness, acceptance and application of methods of nonviolent conflict transformation; b) strengthen women and marginalized groups in a structured way, c) promote the positive and sensitive handling of history. NGOs should have a profound and proven experience in those working areas, effective work mechanisms and internal structures that adhere to the values of nonviolence as well as zero tolerance for financial mismanagement. They need to be registered and fulfilled all requirements according to the prevailing laws and regulations of the Government of Nepal.

Experienced NGOs are invited to apply no later than 18 August 2023, Friday, 5:00 pm Standard Nepal Time. One EOI can be submitted per NGO. Completion of the questionnaire with substantial information including the applicant organization's project concept and requested documents is sufficient for the application. The application form is self-explanatory. Inquiries will not be answered. Exceeding the indicated number of characters - spaces are not counted - will lead to the exclusion of the application. Please merge the annexes and send a single email with a maximum of 4 annexes.

Applications received with incomplete documents and after the deadline will not be involved in selection process. Any form of attempt to influence the selection process will result in the immediate disqualification of the applicant. KURVE Wustrow reserves all rights to take decisions on the selection of applications without providing any reasons.
