Call for consultancy service for an assessment of Enterprises Options of Forest and Farm-Based Project and Ecosystem Services

The Samvardhan project, funded by the European Union and the Austrian Development Cooperation through ADRA Austria, is implemented by ADRA Nepal, ANSAB Nepal, BEE-Group and Federation of Community Forestry Users Nepal (FECOFUN). The project is being executed in Kohalpur Municipality and Rapti-Sonari Rural Municipality of Banke district, and Thakurbaba and Madhuban Municipality of Bardiya district. Its primary aim is to empower Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), particularly farmer groups and community forest user groups (CFUGs), to restore and conserve biodiversity and ecosystems for sustainable use and equitable sharing. The project overall aims to improve practices amongst forest user’s groups, farmer groups, civil societies and public and private stakeholders in conservation, sustainable utilization, and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystems in Banke and Bardia districts of Lumbini Province.

Bheri Environmental Excellence Group (BEE-Group) is seeking an application from the qualified individuals or companies to provide the consultancy services under “Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) actions for resilient ecosystem and community” (Samvardhan Project) for carrying the assessment of Enterprises Options of Forest and Farm-Based Project and Ecosystem Services in project’s working areas for assessing the potential and existing enterprises to support them through TPF (Third Party Financing) propose where the Samvardhan project is being implemented. 

Interested professionals/companies are requested to submit a brief proposal including technical and financial details outlining comprehensive the plan to achieve the objectives as stated in the ToR within the given timeline along with the updated detailed curriculum vitae of the consultant if/or team members. The indicative format of the proposal is attached along with the notice.

Qualified candidates may apply for this consultancy service by not later than Monday, July 15, 2024 by submitting the proposal along with the subject line as “Application for the Consultancy Service for Enterprise related to forest, farm and ecosystem service assessment” to beegroup.procurement@gmail.com shortlisted individuals/firms will be informed for further processing.    

Candidates who submit the proposal must be ready to comply with BEE-Group’s Child Protection Policy and Safeguarding Policy on Preventing Harassment, Sexual Exploitation, and Abuse.
