About the job:
Introduction:
The individual will be employed by BGN as a Bus Escort (Part Timer). She/He will be responsible for receiving pupils from parents or school staff at designated bus stops assisting them to board and onboard from the bus safely. She/He is to ensure that each pupil is safely and comfortably seated for the duration of the journey. Additionally, she/he also responsible for the health and safety and welfare of the pupils throughout the journey.

This position is advertised at 20 hours per week.
Job description:
Collect pupils from their parents/ carers at designated bus stops and ensure return delivery in the same manner.
Responsible for the health and safety (first aider), comfort and welfare of pupils throughout the journey, ensuring all pupils have their bags and equipment secured and seatbelt is fastened.
Responsible for supervising children and maintaining of their behaviour.
Report any incidents of misbehaviour conducted by children to BGN Welfare and MTO/AMTO in the first instance.
Responsible for the notification of any form of incident involving an embossed child to the MTO/AMTO.
Any property found on the bus or used vehicles are to be reported to MTO/AMTO.
Reporting any vehicle defects, faults, incidents, and accidents to Detail Clerk/ AMTO
To submit the name list of the children to AMTO on weakly basis.
Become familiar with all routes to and from school to be of assistance to driver.
Carry out any other duties as required by line manager suitable with the post.
Comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person/ AMTO/ MTO.
Attending relevant training courses (Safeguarding, First Aider etc) as identified and agreed by line manager.
Collect points from Safeguarding meeting run by Welfare BGN.

Work Experience:
Minimum 1 years of experience in related field.
Qualification:
Academic – Secondary Education (SLC/SEE) - Minimum
Technical – Knowledge of Safeguarding children
English – Good Written and Spoken
Nepali – Good Written and Spoken
You will be assessed on your English language skills and Knowledge of Safeguarding children to qualify for interviews during the sifting and selection process.

Salary 412.43 NPR per hour (Permanent).
Gratuity after completing 3 years’ service.
