Position:
AutoCAD Designer
1. Read, Analyze & Understand the specific project scope of work
2. Identify any potential space constraints/challenges and develop a solution for the site layout
3. Basic grasp of engineering drawings and principles, and understand the qualities of metals as well as other materials
4. Good communications, numeracy and Computer skills
5. Problem solving and a desire to come up with practical solutions
6. Accuracy and attention to detail
7. Design/Drafting of DCS, Drive, MCC Panels
8. Documentation of design specifications and implementation details
9. Experience with Cadence Tools
10. Familiar with PDK - Ground Rule, Layout versus Schematic, and Methodology Checking Tools
11. Familiarity with Extraction tools (Synopsys StarRC or Cadence Quantus QRC)
12. Deep understanding of Cadence Spectre or Equivalent Circuit Simulation and Analysis Tool
Requirements:
· Able to work independently
· Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering field or Degree in Architecture preferred
· AutoCAD Certificate is a plus
· Proficient in AutoCAD is a must!
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, ETC.)
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong sense of urgency; we are a fast-paced environment
