Associate Editor (Online News Media)

Institute of Innovation of Innovation and Quality Assurance (IIQA) is expanding its digital presence. In this regard, we are looking for the following position. 

Associate Editor - 1 

• Knowledge of both narrative and service journalism
• Experience in reporting and/or line editing for a print or online 
• Eager to work in a collaborative environment 
• Command in the Nepali language 
• Familiarity with SEO best practices 
• Must have a passion for, and preferably knowledge of current affairs, development works, etc

Key Responsibilities: 

• Report, edit and assign stories for the online media active and up to date 
• Working with the designers on layout and digital presentation 
• Collaborate with managing team to ensure print content is presented effectively online 
• Develop headlines, subheads, image captions, and other display types
