Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) established in 1989 with the objective of protecting and promoting human rights and social justice in Nepal, requires application for the post of Information Technology Officer. Position: Assistant IT (Information Technology) Officer

Required Qualification, Experience and Knowledge:

• B.Sc. CSIT, B.Sc.CS or BE in Computer Sc or equivalent with experiences in data analysis 
• Familiar with data analysis tool such as SPSS, R, Wega or further more.
• Proficiency in LAN Trouble shooting
• Proficiency in typing and writing in both Nepali and English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, control and evaluate the operations of IT system of INSEC.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system as well as other technology issues.
• Provide technical support to employees, analyze and resolve computer issue.
• Lead to documentation of Human Rights Violation data documentation and data analysis.
• Ensure smooth operation of the Planning Monitoring and Reporting system of INSEC.
• Provide technical support and guidance to subordinates to manage day-to-day IT related tasks.
• Design and provide training programs on security and IT Application useful for other staffs.
• Maintain IT equipment & instruments inventory.
• Regular monitor and maintain computer systems, networks and security of all technology and advise to the staffs and Managers.
• Assist to define, update and proper implementation of IT system of the organization and regular provide guidance and support to produce desired results.
• Additional responsibilities will be assigned as per the requirements.
