Detailed Job Description and Requirement

Maha-Himal Agriculture (P) Ltd. is an agricultural farm located at Parwanipur, Parsa district with drip irrigation system and temperature controlled green house producing mainly vegetables such as tomato, capsicum, cucumber, cauliflower, cabbage, chili etc. The company requires an agronomist who will manage the vegetable production.

Key Responsibility:

·         Planning the seasonal/off-seasonal vegetable production in open field, tunnel green house and temperature controlled green house.

·         Manage the agriculture inputs such as organic and non-organic fertilizers, medicines etc.

·         Manage nursery

·         Manage vegetable production and manpower required for it.

·         Prepare regular reports of vegetable production, vegetable production in process, consumption of different inputs including manpower for each vegetable etc.

·         Recommend policies and procedures required for efficient and cost effective vegetable production and processing.

Key skills

·         Planning and controlling season and off season wise vegetable production.

·         Developing and implementing vegetable wise inputs and manpower utilization system for efficient and cost effective vegetable production.

·         Should be able to lead the agriculture team with good supervision with high level of motivation

·         Reporting monthly performances.
