National Institute for Development and Research (P) Ltd-(NIDR) is national-level research and consultancy agency in Nepal working with different national and international organisations since 2012. 

JOB DESCRIPTIONS 

• Recording of vouchers and entering them into the computerized accounting system
• Monitor bank account balances and bank reconciliation.
• Documentation, bookkeeping and preparing financial reports.
• Contents preparation for regular website update
• Compliance tax/VAT returns
• Manage budget and create detailed financial forecasts
• Perform month-end and year-end close process
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and assist with auditing.
• Perform other duties as assigned. (Such as supporting in budgeting, payroll, logistics etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or related field (audit, tax, or finance).
• Experience with accounting software, familiar with Tally system is a must.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting/finance.
• Fluent in business level English and Nepali (Speaking and Writing).
• Demonstrate the contents design in Photoshop/ freehand and website update and research skills  
• Demonstrate advanced Excel skill, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
• Should commit to working for a minimum two years 
• Should have a two-wheelers and a valid license
