Infinity Movies located in Gongabu, Kathmandu, Nepal, is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and skilled Accountant. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple financial tasks within a dynamic environment.

Position: Accountant

Location: Infinity Movies, Gongabu, Kathmandu, Nepal

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight: Take charge of all accounting operations, including the creation and analysis of financial reports, ledgers, and statements. Ensure accuracy in figures, postings, and reports.
• Bank Reconciliation: Regularly perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial information and identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Regulatory Compliance: Stay well-informed of the latest financial laws and regulations, ensuring that all accounting activities comply with governmental and financial policies.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to formulate effective budgets and forecasts, aiding in financial planning and cost management.

• Payroll Management: Oversee the payroll system, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time while managing deductions and records.

• Accounts Management: Handle accounts payable and receivable, meticulously recording all transactions and resolving any discrepancies.
• VAT and Tax Compliance: Handle the company's compliances related to VAT, TDS, and other applicable taxes, including filing monthly VAT returns and ensuring timely payments and filings.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of financial data, highlighting trends and advising on potential areas for improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• At least 2 years of proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality sector.

• Profound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

• Proficiency in Tally accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
